THE POSITION
We are searching for a Headhunter/KAM either with seniority from within the Life Science industry or solid experience from recruiting to the Life Science industry, and with the necessary drive to play an active role in the development of our Life Science segment locally.
Your primary responsibility will be to:
· take active part in the overall global development and implementation of the Life Science segment locally
· set and fulfil the expectations of relevant clients within the Life Science segment
· create relations and build bridge between contacts at the client and relevant colleagues
· take active part in relevant meetings and be a sparring partner in connection to e.g. job profiles, presentations and follow-ups
· coordinate cross border assignments, ensure that quality standards are being met and agreements respected
· develop and take ownership of action plans and budgets – in collaboration with the Life Science core group
· responsible for communicating monthly status, deviations from action plans or other relevant information
· has the ear to the ground and is informed about opportunities to expand relations, new assignments and changes in the client’s organization
· manage headhunting assignments from sale to successful completion
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate must have a proven theoretical and professional track record within the Life Science segment; alternatively you have solid experience from Life Science recruitment industry. In this position turnover is directly related to success, therefore it is crucial to have an established network, insight of and access to clients within the Life Science segment.
Furthermore the candidate must:
· have a BSc./MSc. degree within natural sciences and/or a commercial degree
· have relevant commercial experience (> 5 years) from one or more of the pharmaceutical industries, biotech, medicotech, veterinary Pharma business, diagnostic industry, or high-end food/enzyme industry – alternatively you have experience with clients within Life Science from a recruitment company
· a strong understanding of the life science business processes preferably within several disciplines e.g. Development (product or clinical), Discovery, Production, Sales/Marketing
· possess business development and sales experience; preferably from a previous position as KAM
· have effective communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate value propositions, results and conclusions
· be international oriented with great English skills both oral and written
· be innovative, structured, goal-oriented and have a nag for delivering quality
· a strong commitment to collaboration and working as part of a team
· fluent English and German or French
The Headhunter/KAM will be part of the 8 strong Swiss team and the position can be located anywhere in Switzerland.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
